Pedagogy Working Group

Objectives

Our pedagogy working group formed in June 2023 has started reviewing, curating, and developing inclusive, culturally responsive pedagogical tools oriented toward fostering diverse student retention in EE disciplines. Our six areas of focus are:

  • 1) Review, curate and develop resources (Join Zotero group)
  • 2) Discuss classroom-related barriers
  • 3) Evaluate assessment tools
  • 4) Revise ecology and environmental biology curriculum
  • 5) Develop and create novel pedagogy tools
  • 6) Implementation and dissemination

We shared our efforts/products as a poster and short talk at the SABER meeting in summer, 2024 and will share our poster at ESA 2024 too!
